Sanchez who's giving us a report on light there recent Studies have shown that light therapy can have great benefits letting helps us sleep improve her mood and reduces depression although light therapy won't cure seasonal depression non seasonal depression or other conditions it make symptoms increase your energy levels and help you feel better about yourself and life light therapy can also start to improve symptoms within days and some cases that we can take two weeks or more thank you dr. Carolyn would you care to elaborate I would electroencephalograph commonly known as these are used to measure and monitor your sleep activity your brain is called regenerating tiny electrical signals called brain waves these brain waves are Amplified and recorded the varying types of brain waves that show up on EEG to give us information about brain activity when we are both asleep and awake on top we have beta waves that they have the shortest frequency fade away the parent when we are engaged in everyday activities and conversation directly off of alpha waves appear when we are very real and deepening into meditation next are theta waves with an even larger frequency it's when we are drowsy and drifting down into sleep and dream so it's a light sleep and then finally there delta waves which are the largest waves and they me a pair when we are deeply asleep and not dreaming thank you dr.
