Pointer Association
It is the mission of the Point Loma High School Pointer Association to develop and provide resources for enhancing the educational learning community for ALL students - supporting the core values of engaging, empowering, educating and preparing all students for the 21st Century. The key to our mission is to provide resources to enhance the three A's - "Academics, Arts and Athletics".
Your Pointer Association contributed another $30,000 to Point Loma High School in May in support of the "AAAs for Success - Academics, Arts & Athletics".
This supplements contributions to PLHS by the Pointer Association's twenty booster clubs and this year's "Gifts & Grants Program" to raise the total funding in 2012-13 to well over $200,000!
The Pointer Association's contributions fulfilled a wide variety of student and faculty needs in more than twenty different departments and programs because there was no budget to cover them.
