okay guys take yo here's today's video  those two videos in one on this one the first assignments very simple one of my students from seventh grade at 6. Said that it took him less than two minutes to do this the first one which is just for recognize the slope stop this right here what you're looking at is what equation looks like in slope intercept form what we're going to do I'm going to give you some examples I'm just represents a slope so I'm going to give you a line with a slope of 4 and the B represents the y-intercept so this line ray would have a slope of 4 & a y-intercept of 7 can I see can recognize that these just line right up fam equals 4 MB equals so big there's the wire sucks and we'll talk about this in a minute  her damn is the slope for all you have to do is look at the line and recognize the slope or up recognize the y-intercept and then we can grab it after that salmon so much for this line with say y equals -3/4 x + y send this case m equals 3/4 then b equals one now don't know why they call B the Y that's that's what it's called that's what it's labeled so if I had another equation with c equals -2/3 start -8 then M would be equal to -2/3 and B would be equal to -8 so if you look at the first problem you might have realize like I made a mistake here on the slope was negative why -3/4 x + 1 so the slope was -3/4 fix that real quick so there's no confusion let me give you one more what about equals three on this one you can notice there's nothing where the y-intercept is so this case and equals 3 and there is wiring a sub for b equals zero if I if it would help you out we could write a plus zero here but that that's just a bunch of extra stuff on the equation doesn't really set for the celestial day so you can see though that and y-intercept would be zero in that case now what's going to be some problem chair Chucky look at this one is this one in slope intercept form this one actually because the if you notice the slope is here the slope is always the swordfish in front of the exit I'm so this really is not written in slope intercept form so let's rewrite in slope intercept form and let's put let's which of these terms let's put this negative 200  over 13 acts in the front and the negative 100 13 here  search phone this case if you look you can see the slope here is negative
