there's a lot of history here at Point Loma High School 90 years of it that's not the same point loma's at campus out of Step In fact it paves a way u.s. news the authorities are making schools across the country consistently ranks Point Loma High School as one of the top schools in the state of California in fact last year's graduating class received level million dollars in scholarship and financial aid packages graduating seniors also received hundreds of college credits in political science calculus and Career and Technical education courses Point Loma High is also very proud to wear clothes very supportive alumni community and PTSA organization are school also offers Real World Learning opportunities through numerous job internships job shadows and business conferences in the lab here's my school is taking on several major renovation we added the brand new 1000 building housing are award-winning history Department of brand new music center housing are award-winning music department a brand-new award-winning engineering program a state-of-the-art 3.5 million dollar film and music studio for our award-winning film program and a brand new football field with training facility complete with Stadium lighting for our Championship Athletic program Point Loma High School counseling office force with students and parents to find the right match for students and universities are campus continues to add to a computer and media resources digital classrooms and are working to implement more technology into their curriculum leadership teams professional learning communities and numerous workshops keep the staff up-to-date on the trends in educational field and help us monitor student achievement another positive feature High School is the staff truly enjoys teaching in Point Loma The Faculty is also full of dedicated community members with Advanced degrees and real work experience The Point Loma cluster is also committed to being the district leader and what's called vertical alignment we believe when all School leaders were closing together with common goals and values the result is the best educational outcome for all students from pre-kindergarten to The Day After High School graduation given the opportunity find Point Loma has something for everyone so who do you want to be
