PL men's volleyball team challenged Escondido Charter HS in the Division 3 quarter finals at PLHS main gym Saturday May 16th playing to a large crowd.  Point loma came out fast and did not slow down.  The Pointers won the first game 25-12, putting pressure on the White Tigers of Escondido,  The second game the White Tigers came back to beat the Pointer 25-21.  The Pointers re-collected themselves and worked collectively to win the 3rd and 4th game 25-17, 25-23 to win the San Diego CIF DIII quarter finals.

The Pointers move on to the semi finals to play against the Helix Highlanders on Wednesday May 20th at Helix HS located at 7323 University Ave, La Mesa, CA 91941.  Game time starts at 7PM.  Doors open at 5PM.   There is a cover charge for entry $11 for adults, $7 for students/seniors.
