This session is designed for staff interested in learning more about recruiting and retaining culturally different students in GATE Education. The lecture will be conducted by Dr. Donna Ford who is a professor at Vanderbilt University and one of the leading experts/authorities on gifted Black students. She has been a NAGC Board member (two terms) and consults nationally to recruit and retain students who are Black and Hispanic in gifted education.
