This 5 minute video will help walk you through the "PLHS Senior Scholarship Application" process.

I know what you're thinking you are almost before you get there you need to fill out your poloma high school scholarship application because every year for them High School gives out several million dollars and scholarship and financial aid packages and you want some of that free money you deserve it so I'm going to walk you through the application process so the first thing you want to do is go to the Point Loma High School website go to the counseling tab at the top menu and the right hand side you see the Point Loma High School scholarship application  click on that and now you have a Google form then yes this Google form is 58 pages long and if you read the first green it says it's going to take 45 to 60 Minutes to complete honestly that's a long it should take  but a little tip and trick here is if you don't have 45 or 60 Minutes to fill it out you can just fill out the required fields save it and go back and edit your responses later just exactly what I'm going to show you how to do  the majority of screens are  all the scholarships Point Loma High School offers but first we have to get through several screens here add major clubs organizations you know  because if I click yes and I have to go through it and list them all and if you do have community service if you do have what's an activities you do want to put yes you do want to fill this out because this is going to be the first page of your scholarship application that the donors are going to look at if you have a Wharton honors of course you're going to fill them out but right now just for the sake of this tutorial I'm going to skip those parts what I want to do is get to the scholarships component  when can I hear the personal statement yes this is a personal statement that you need to write is not the same personal statement or essay that go to each one of these applications the first gossip you'll see is the Benny Eden scholarship and here you'll see the criteria for the scholarship and if you meet that criteria and want to apply for it click yes CSF are you an active member we have enough Memorial Scholarship and all of these scholarships have their own criteria some require academic summer choir activities on required GPA do you spell spirited of course you are yes we're getting down here to the end notice this one actually the scholarship the pointer sociation green scholarship has a link need to follow  what is we going to direct you to their application their application process and their requirements and here we are getting to the end next you have some things you have to agree to and understand you add your signature then you click submit  and once you do that then you can edit your responses if you do not get to the agent it submit you will have to start all over so here's my edited application I've already um a lot of these things  but now I can go back and I can I can revisit this application and I can I can fill in my personal statement and I can add my community service and my Awards etc etc  I personally would create a strategy when it comes to applying for scholarships I would apply for some of the bigger Starships Starships say the 5,000 or $2,500 scholarships and I would also try not to forget about the smaller ones the thousand-dollar $500 scholarships because often times the smaller scholarships don't even get applications I'll never forget sitting on this one scholarship panel that had only applicant lucky student won $5,000 and all they had to do was write a couple paragraphs so in the end persistence and hard work does pay off so once again just be sure to familiarize yourself  will the application process don't forget these important dates and good luck
