Aloha and welcome to PLHS Ceramics.  This school year is my 16th year teaching Ceramics at PLHS and my 25th year teaching Ceramics in SDUSD.  I did my student teaching here at PLHS and upon finishing I was able to obtain a position teaching Ceramics and Art at Hoover High School.  After 9 years there, I was able to transfer to PLHS where I took the position of my master teacher, Frank Irving who decided to retire.
Besides Ceramics, I enjoy surfing and paddling Hawaiian outrigger canoes.  I currently belong to and paddle for a local club, Kanaka Outrigger Canoe Club.  Our club is unique in that all of our members are over 50 years of age.  We are members of SCORA (Southern California Outrigger Racing Assoc.) and compete in the Senior Masters and Golden Masters divisions.
