Welcome!

LCDR Field retired from the U.S. Navy in 2019 after over 23 years of service. A native of San Diego, he graduated from Madison High School prior to enlisting in the Navy. He has been stationed and worked across the US, the Pentagon, Europe, and onboard multiple U.S. Navy ships. He joined the PLHS staff as the Senior Naval Science Instructor beginning in School Year 2021.

Welcome Cadets, new and returning, and parents/guardians! PLHS NJROTC works hard, has fun, and consistently earns awards and recognition from the Navy and our much-loved Point Loma community. Our Cadets grow and excel in Leadership, Citizenship, and gaining a Sense of Responsibility, usually ending the year with much accomplished. This year is off to a great start with the schedule already packed full of events and opportunities in leadership, teamwork, community service, and, of course, some fun! Now it's up to our Cadets to make this year the best ever!
 
 
The following are the Google Classrooms that each Cadet will need to join.
 
Alpha Company (2nd period)
Bravo Company (3rd period)
Charlie Company (4th period)
Delta Company (5th period)
Echo Company (6th period)
Battalion Classroom (ALL Cadets)
Assignments will also become available in Canvas

Google Classroom - These are used for communication within assigned platoons and one for the entire JROTC unit.  You should have already received an invite in your school email.  All Cadets are expected to view their classrooms daily to receive necessary information and instruction from leadership.  Some assignments may also be posted here.

 

Canvas - Any assignments will be posted and tracked through here.  Cadets are automatically assigned by course subject. Additional rooms may be created for individual classes/platoons.
