Seniors - Class of 2024
END OF YEAR ACTIVITIES - *All seniors must attend all activities. Attendance will be taken.
Tuesday, June 4: Senior breakfast and Field Day at the athletic field - 9 am - 1 pm
Wednesday, June 5: Graduation Rehearsal in the Big Gym at 2:00 pm.
Graduation tickets and caps/gowns will be distributed at the end of rehearsal. Students graduating with honors will also need to pick up their honor cords when they pick up their cap and gowns. A list will be posted in the gym if you are not sure if you qualify. Attendance at rehearsal is MANDATORY. Be on time! Those who do not attend may not be able to walk at graduation on Thursday. YOU NEED YOUR SENIOR CLEARANCE TO GET YOUR CAP/GOWN (get the clearance slip from the library starting Monday 6/3).
Thursday, June 6: Commencement Ceremony 5:00 pm -7:00 pm at the PLHS Athletic Field.
Seniors need to arrive in the Gym at 3:30 to get ready for the ceremony.

- Before graduation - back up all docs/work from your sandi.net account! It will be de-activated after graduation and there will be no way to access that information
- Common App - this is where you complete many college applications

- Xello - You can use this to request letters of rec, transcripts, etc. Login via SDUSD Clever Site
- Brag Sheet - you'll need this when you request letters of rec
- FAFSA - for financial aid
- College Board - find info/register for SAT, AP, etc. - send test scores to colleges
- Western Undergraduate Exchange - some out-of-state schools offer reduced tuition to CA residents
- Apply to Cal State Schools
- Apply to UC Schools
- Apply to San Diego Community Colleges
If you have not ordered the cap and gown, you should order it as soon as possible. I have recorded a video that shows you how to navigate the Jostens website to order just the cap and gown.
