The purpose of the Gonzales/Washington Scholarship Foundation is to assist eligible African-American high school seniors to defray expenses related to their higher education. The scholarship is named in memory of Dr. Loretta Gonzales and Ms. Renee Washington.
 
The following criteria must be met before a candidate will be considered for a scholarship:
 
Scholarship Application Form
Written essay (100-150 words)
Two letters of recommendation. Recommendations may include your church pastor/minister (strongly encouraged), school offical, an employer, etc.
Official High School Transcript
 
Counseling Office has applications.
