Assignment

Take the time you have to start reviewing for the AP exam (or your final exam if you're not signed up for the AP exam).  Review your old homework/notes, look at your AP Review guide (Princeton review, etc.) and refer to the study plan you made in class this past week.  Take some time to look at the test taking strategies, practice exams and practice essays.  Also, you can look at online review sites such as Khan Academy, Tom Richey, Adam Norris, etc....  You can look at the College Board APUSH website for released exams and specific details about the AP Exam format.  If you really want to test yourself, do a practice exam under the actual time limits of the exam.

Remember -- time is not a renewable resource! Plan as if you will be taking the exam and don't squander your time.  Stay healthy and safe out there and I'll see you when we get back to school.

Due:

Assignment

If you haven't seen the updates, the AP Exam will be administered ONLINE and will be in a MODIFIED format.  Units 8 and 9 WILL NOT be included on the test.  This means the content stops at the end of World War Two.  I have pushed back the homework that includes unit 8 and 9 until June 1.  If you haven't done it, don't start it -- focus on AP exam review for now and finish the homework after the exam.  If you have already done it, hold on to it and you will receive credit later.  Please check back here regularly for updates.  The College Board is going to unlock more review items and I will post links to them and also open up review items on AP Classroom when they become available.  In the mean time you can continue reviewing as already planned.

Due:

Assignment

Log on to your Google account and join the Google Classroom for this class.  Join code is ubd6q3q

Instructions and information will be posted on Google Classroom.  From April 6 to April 26, online learning will commence without grading.  From April 27 to the end of the school year, online learning will continue with grading.  We will mainly be getting situated this week and I'll be posting activities for students who have signed up.

Your primary mission for this class is to prepare for the APUSH exam.

The College Board has posted the revised AP testing schedule and has released the format and content of the APUSH exam.  The test will be conducted online on May 22.  It will be a five document DBQ, will allow open notes and open book, and will cover periods 3 - 7 from the APUSH curriculum unit map.  This means the time period from 1754 - 1945 is all that will be covered -- nothing before and nothing after.  I will be posting review information and coordinating times to confer with me.  I will also post links to the revised testing page, the rubric and content review information.  I'll be using Google Classroom, this homework page and AP Classroom to coordinate the class.

Please help me spread the word to any of your friends in this class to sign up for Google Classroom ASAP.
