1. Today we went over the answers to the practice final.
2. Homework for today and the rest of the year is to study for the final.
3. Attached is the worksheet you got on Tuesday that has the page number in your cuaderno where you can find each item (2013-pracscan). it also includes the book title (either Avancemos 2, or En Espanol 3) and the unit and lesson number from which the grammar concept came so that you can do review exercises on classzone.com
4. The vocabulary lists for the year are also attached.
5. For Thursday's composition (50% of your final exam grade) pay special attention to list 10 -love/friendship. That has a lot of the vocabulary you will need.
6. If you need tutoring come in at lunch or after school Wednesday or Thursday.

You got back your "defender una opinion" on Friday. On a separate sheet of paper, rewrite the composition with corrections. If you didn't get an "A" and you don't understand whey you were graded down in some areas, please come after school on Monday to talk to Profe so that you know what to do for Thursday's final composition (worth half of your final exam grade in the class).

Extra credit: Look on p. 97 and 98 of your cuaderno. Write one or more of the "practice prompts" (see p. 97 of your cuaderno or attachement). Make sure to follow the instructions (see attachment or p. 98 of your cuaderno) in order to receive full credit. Each extra credit composition is worth one homework. You may do all of them for extra credit. They are due on Tuesday. This may be the last extra credit assignment available for you to do this year.

If you don't remember what you were supposed to bring or do then either make tortilla espanola, a drink or a dessert OR translate the recipes for 3 of the tapas into Spanish (do NOT use a translator - I will know).

Prepare for the tapas party which is next Tuesday, April 23rd. If you are making a dish, shop for the ingredients and if you have time on Sunday, make your dish and refrigerate it. If you are bringing paper products find/buy them and bring them Monday. Please finish dressing up your "calaca" and make sure you have 7 sentences written about the person. Remember that this is a famous person who has died that you will be remembering tomorrow for dia de los muertos. The "calaca" is the skeleton photocopy that you recieved on Wednesday in class. You were told on Wednesday that you would be presenting information on your calaca on Friday (tomorrow).

This is what you need to do:
1. Cut out the skeleton and dress it up, color it to make it look like your famious person. Don't just color it - it has to LOOK LIKE the famous person or somewho represent them.
