Enrollment procedure for 2026-2027 school year

 

The first step to enroll a student at Pt. Loma High School is to verify your address at the following site and confirm we are your neighborhood school: https://www.sandiegounified.org/schools/school_finder

 

The next step for all new students in the neighborhood or re-enrollment for students who are returning to the district from a different school system (charter, private, homeschool or out of state) would be to enroll online.

Below is a list of the items that will be needed for enrollment. You may upload the Birth Certificate, Immunization Records, proof of residency and unofficial transcript to the online enrollment portal. Please note that all documents must be submitted all at once, as you will be unable to add anything to the enrollment portal once you have completed the submission. 

 

• Birth Certificate
• Immunization Records
• Proof of residency (most recent utility bill, lease agreement or mortgage document)
• Unofficial transcript from last school of attendance
• Copy of IEP or 504 (if applicable)
• Enrollment packet (forms can be downloaded below)

 

• Health Information Exchange Consent Form
• Universal Form - Parent Authorization
• Housing Questionnaire

 

Our Enrollment Clerk, Cecilia Avila-Herrera will receive a notification once your submission has been completed. She will be contacting you in the order your online enrollment submission has been received to set up an appointment. We appreciate your patience, as we receive a large increase in submissions from now through the end of the school year. Please note that we do not accept walk-in same day appointments.
