OPTIONAL student expression to be showcased on PLHS Social Media
In this extraordinary time students are experiencing a whole range of emotions. As such, there are a lot of students who may want to express themselves: writing, acting, painting, photography, computer graphics, video, etc. We would like to provide an opportunity for students to showcase their talents in their own unique way. On Mondays, admin will pick up to five submissions a week to feature on PLHS Social Media.
Student submissions need to follow a few guidelines:
1. Original content or properly sourced content only. Students can recite written text, or do a cover song, etc. but must acknowledge the original content creator.
2. Submissions may not contain any of the following:
a. Rude or obscene language (i.e. swear words, sexual jokes, violent threats, etc.).
b. Hate speech (i.e. racism, sexism, homophobia, etc.).
c. Insults towards a specific student(s) or a teacher(s).

We got through our first week of distance learning, huzzah!
There was confusion about students earning attendance credit this week.
Starting on Monday, we will take attendance differently.
I will post a google form in google classroom for you to submit that you are participating each week.
There will be a new form posted each week for you to fill out and submit.
Zoom meetings are every Friday at 11am.

Students are FINALLY able to use their stu.sandi.net email addresses to communicate. However, each student will have to fill out this Email User Policy before their account is activated. Please fill this out first.

You or your parent can pick up a Chromebook Thursday, April 9th at San Diego High School. If your last name begins with A - L, come in the morning between 8:00 and 12:00; M - Z come between 12:00 and 5:00 PM. Students can pick up a chromebook even if you did not complete the tech survey or said you didn’t need one at the time.

Students who do not own computers will be getting them from the district and teachers will be training to teach entirely online.
