-Create a Google Slides version of your memoir with images and notes. Screencast the slides(add audio narration) and upload to Youtube(unlisted) 2minutes:30seconds-3minutes:30seconds long.
-Slow down time, explode a moment so that something that took just a few minutes or seconds can be written about in detail that extends the experience.

In your Google Doc, go to Table/Insert Table and choose 2x2. Two squares high and two squares wide.
Add numbers and make your table. One box with ages 1-4, one box with ages 5-9, one box with ages 10-11, and one box for ages 12-now.
In EACH box write 3-4 events, big or small, that happened in your life during those years.
Write about one of the events you listed in your chart, or an event you listed while you were relating to the memoirs we read this week.
Include details about who, where, when, why.
Include information about emotions, (yours and others), events, and your reflection.
Do you still feel the same way about this event now as you did then?
What did this event teach you about life?
Tell the story, use what you remember, guess about the details you can't quite recall.

-Be prepared to write an on-demand(in class) five paragraph essay on Monday about your own personal memoir. We will spend the rest of next week revising it.

-Finish reading Fist Stick Knife Gun and answer the embedded questions (delete the story text before you submit, so it's only the questions/answers/lines you underline).
-Mrs. C will change your seating chart and you will form groups of 4 and read and answer Jigsaw Memoir questions. Each person will eventually rotate to other groups, teaching them about their assigned memoir.
