Course Description
ADVANCED PLACEMENT SPANISH LITERATURE 1,2 (HP) – Grades 11,12
Description - This course is designed for students who have successfully completed AP Spanish Language 1,2. It is a continuation of the preceding course and is intended to increase students' ability to communicate in Spanish. Reading materials, including surveys of the history, civilization and culture of peoples who speak Spanish, as well as works of literature in Spanish may be used as the basis for continued development of students' proficiency in the four skills. Students wishing to obtain college credit by taking the Advanced Placement Examination in literature may take this course as preparation for the exam.
Prerequisites: Above average achievement in AP Spanish Language 1,2 with a grade of "B" or better or teacher recommendation.

- Completen los significados de vocabulario de Terminos Poeticos III. hay un examen sobre este vocabulario este viernes el 18 de marzo.
- En clase vamos a leer los siguientes sonetos: Soneto XXII de Garcilaso de la Vega y Soneto CLXVI de Luis de Arte y Góngora; paginas 334-339. Tambien leeremos Salmo XVII y Enseña como todas las cosas avisan de la muerte de Francisco de Quevedo y Villegas; paginas 340-343. - Fijense en la estructura de cada soneto en comparacion con los romances que acabamos de estudiar.
