Overview of Modern World History

During this 9 weeks Quarter 2 Modern World History course students will get current and focus on Unit 1 and Unit 2, which includes the Prologue and chapters 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 in McDougal Littell Modern World History Patterns of Interaction. In Coach Esto's Quarter 2 MWH class students relate, compare and contrast, moral and ethical principles of current event issues to help explore the roots of DEMOCRACY, and learn about worldwide REVOLUTIONS that changed and shaped the development of modern political thought.  

During 9 weeks Quarter 4 Modern World History course students will continue to get current and focus on Unit 2, Unit 3, and Unit 4, which includes chapters 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 in McDougal Littell Modern World History Patterns of Interaction.  In Coach Esto’s Quarter 4 MWH class students relate, compare and contrast, moral and ethical principles of current event issues to help explore and analyze the causes and effects of the INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION, IMPERIALISM, the FIRST WORLD WAR, and the SECOND WORLD WAR.
