1. Current Events #46-50 you may: Watch the "Top 3 Things You Need to Know About Money" and do your Current Events using that info. It is a very informative (under 20 min) video DUE BEFORE MAY 29TH
 
2. Everfi there are two new modules.  You can do one or both modules, up to you.

Venture (is about being an Entrepreneur and starting a small business)
 
3. If you did not complete Survey from Cal-Soap Tori she really wants you to PLEASE COMPLETE THE SURVEY reach out to her if you have any questions about anything!! 
 
4. If you picked up "Rich Dad Poor Dad" or ordered it on line please email me [email protected] and I will give you a very basic assignment. Basically taking pictures of the quizzes and surveys in the book you take. This is not a difficult assignment or book to read. Email me if you want to read this for enrichment or to raise your grade. Due May 27th

1. Watch ANY 5 episodes of "Explained" Season 2 which is on Netflix. You pick the 5 Episodes you want to watch in Season 2. Pretend you are doing Current Events and write 5 facts for each episode you watch (they are approx 20 min) then after you have watched the 5 Episodes you selected write a reflection about which Episode was the most meaningful to you and basically why. There is a link on Google Classroom for Current Events 36-40 but you are watching "Explained" instead. Due  Thursday May 14th
 
2. There is a new category called INTERACTIVES, please check them out. Complete 1 or 2 of the INTERACTIVE ACTIVITIES.  They are fun to do. You can do them alone or with a family member or friend. Please try to answer approx 70% of the questions asked and you will earn full credit. (So you do not need to answer all the questions) LAST WEEK THE "FAVORITE" INTERACTIVES WERE SPENT AND UBER. I am giving you another week to do any of the INTERACTIVES YOU WANT to raise your grade or for Enrichment. Due Thursday May 14th. 
 
3. Please see and read the link from Cal-Soap Tori she really wants you to reach out to her if you have any questions about anything!!

5. This Saturday May 16th watch "Graduate Together: America Honors the High School Class of 2020" will be a 1-hour multimedia event featuring several guests, and it will air on Saturday, May 16, on ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC as well as other broadcast and digital streaming partners, according to a press release.

Special guests will include LeBron James, Malala Yousafzai, the Jonas Brothers, Yara Shahidi, Bad Bunny, Lena Waithe, Pharrell Williams, Megan Rapinoe, H.E.R. and Ben Platt, and the event is being hosted by XQ Institute, The LeBron James Family Foundation and The Entertainment Industry Foundation.

You will have the option of using this "Graduate Together" multimedia event as your Current Events 41-45 for next week. Due next Thursday May 21st. 

6. I know you are keeping up with Current Events. You have CNN Student News, you have the UpFront Magazines (password Mslove2019) and all the Current Event sources in Google Classroom for example the "Today's Front Pages" of Newspapers in Googleclassroom might be interesting to some of you. For the time being you do not have to do written Current Events. 
 
7. Create a couple Boundary Breaking Questions for us to use in a future Zoom Meeting in May. See Google Classroom for Boundary Breaking link.

1. Budget Challenge-you have until April 23rd to finish your Budget Challenge Quizzes all of them. And advance and improve on the Leaderboard and complete your Cash Flow Spreadsheet.
2. On the PLHS website there is a note from Mr. Becker for Seniors it is easy to find on left hand side. 
3. Citizenship grades can only go up. Citizenship grades can be no lower than they were on March 13th.
4. There is also Mesa College/Promise Scholarship info on the PLHS website

1.   Last and final push with Budget Challenge. Finish ALL the quizzes, (I am not looking for perfection) review the Unit Material, and complete the Final Survey and Post Simulation Assessment. THE FINAL DAY OF THE BUDGET CHALLENGE IS APRIL 23RD. 
I realize you have partners so figure out who does what.
I will be sending out a Google Form so that I can put BUDGET CHALLENGE partnerships together. If one partner is doing all the work. No problem just let me know. 
 
2. The EverfiNew Modules (all of them) and "Keys to your future" will go into the gradebook on April 28th. SO if you have still not finished them do so now.
 
3. I know you are keeping up with Current Events. You have CNN Student News, you have the UpFront Magazines (password Mslove2019) and all the Current Event sources in Google Classroom for example the "Today's Front Pages" of Newspapers in Googleclassroom might be interesting to some of you. 4. ASSIGNMENT: Most of you have some extra time on your hands. DO something you may not have time to do under "normal" circumstances. Cook or Bake something. Learn how to count and a few phrases in some language. Learn how to juggle, sew, knit. Paint, or draw something inside or outside. Help someone DO something with someone. Work on your arms/legs/core/learn some yoga/martial art. WHATEVER........ in our Zoom meeting next week you can tell and/or show us what you DID.  YOU HAVE A WEEK :)   You will earn credit if you choose to do this assignment for fun or for credit.
