1. Re-read the story you did today in class for the "running dictation" (attachment - 07-running dictation).   
2. Take out your flashcards. You should have the 12 original ones (attached) plus the 2 new ones (on second page of attachment "07-running dictation") 
3. Turn the flashcards over so that you are looking at the images.  Re-read the story (07-running dictation") AGAIN, and put the flashcards in the order they appear in the story. 
3. Looking at just the images on the cards, retell the story out loud.  This may take several tries to get right. After each sentence that you say, look at the sentence that you were trying to replicate to make sure that you included everything in the sentence.

BIG WRITING TEST TOMORROW (WEDNESDAY)
What is it?  You will be given a picture sequence that tells the story of a monster in a closet.  These are pictures drawn by students.  If you did the extra credit drawings, you may even be writing about the story you drew!  You write the story of what happened in the pictures using vocabulary that you have learned this semester (p. 6-10, frases secretas).   Try to write at least 150-200 words.
How should I study?
1.  Look over p. 3 and 6-10 in your cuaderno.   Think of which phrases would make sense to use in a story about a monster in a closet/locker.  Make sure you know how to say them in Spanish.
2. Re-read stories that Profe has given you about a monster in a closet.   See the attachments if you can't find stories to read.  Reading the stories will improve your accuracy and speed on the day of the test.
How much time do I have to write?
One class period only-50 minutes.  If you come prepared you should have plenty of time to finish the writing.

1. Make sure you know the p. 9 vocabulary and can use it in different contexts
2. Think of ways you can use the vocabulary that you already know to add details to your story to get a higher grade.  The more you can say, the better a grade you will get. 
3. Prepare a few question/answer sequences ready to use so that you can show that you can use tenses other than s/he (eg:  Did you get hurt?  Yes, I got hurt?  Are you OK?  Where are we going to go? etc).  Also, the character cards have two people so you need to know how to conjugate in the "they" form.   These conjugations are in your cuaderno at the top left of p. C.
