1) Study nightly the notes and any vocabulary word from the Respiratory and circulatory systems.
2) Study concepts of evolution; Darwin’s theory, natural selection
3) Know the definition of producers and consumers
4) Know the types of cells produced by mitosis and meiosis
5) Know the base pairing rules for DNA and RNA
6) What are codons?
7) What are the monomers of nucleic acids?
8) Know how to read the genetic code chart
9) Review all the vocabulary from genetics include: heterozygous, autosomal, somatic, gametes, alleles, crossing over, non-disjunction, sex-linked gene, pleiotropy, codominance. and nucleotide
10) Review a simple Punnett square
11) Review the functions of the organelles, mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, nucleus, ribosomes, Golgi apparatus.

Chapter 10 test.  Study the vocabulary word. 

Be able to replicate the DNA, transcribe and translate the RNA.

Know how to read the genetic code chart

Be able to repeat the process and activities of chapter 10

Genetics test.  Study the vocabulary words and all the concepts studied during the unit: Punnett squares, Pedigree charts, Sex-Linked traits and Blood types.

Read all the notes, study the vocabulary words, and know the major events of the stages if mitosis and meiosis.

Chapter 5 Test

Name the 6 types of proteins found in the plasma membrane and state the functions of each.

Study all the functions of the organelles and the vocabulary word..  Be able to distinguish plant, animal, and bacterial cell.  Know the passage of manufactured products through the endomembrane system. Know the organelles and features of the plant cell, not present in the animal cell

Cell analogy project is due.
