Course Description/Objectives

Introduction to Music Production Technology is a one year course which

prepares students for a career in the recording industry. Topics included are;

overview of the recording industry, project management skills, studio workplace

skills, technical vocabulary, managing human resources, projecting financial

needs, basic recording techniques, project proposal, industry legal issues,

product manufacturing and distribution, and product release planning.
