BIOCOM Scholarship Application Due (Common Application for The San Diego Foundation)

Students interested in applying must submit the Common Application From along with the required supporting documentation.
To be considered for this scholarship, applicants should:
Be interested inpursuing a career in the biotechnology and life sciences industries
Demonstrate a likelihood of achieving academic success with primary emphsis in biology, chemistry, physical or computational sciences, and biomedical engineering
Have a commitment to serving the San Diego life sciences community
Have an overall high school GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
Maintain a GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale while in college
Exhibit theleadership traits evidenced by James McGraw: Civic and personal leadership, passion for life sciences, personal integrity and character, and exracurricular involvement.
Financial need will also be considered.
