2.       Must complete all of the required slides to be eligible for full credit. (See an example on the class website)

3.       Be creative with your PowerPoint! (Images, video clips and music)

4.       Slides must include:

a.       Cover Slide: with your name, class, period, and decorated

b.       Popular clothing- describe the style, accessories, necessary items to create the look

c.       What age group wore the clothing?

d.       What social class or possibly ethnicity wore the clothing?

e.       What part of the U.S. wore the clothing?

f.        Provide evidence of your clothing from the specified decade’s popular culture. (Movies, music, poetry, books, television shows, paintings, photography)

g.       What influenced the clothing of that decade and style? (People, politics, society, economics, designers, celebrities…)

h.       Works Cited: include all sources used for your information- websites, books, magazines, etc.

Dress-Up:

1.       With the decade or chosen group of your choice, you must recreate the look from that era as best as you can from head to toe.

2.       Research the clothing, hairstyles and footwear by finding information from books, magazines and the Internet so you have a good idea what the look requires.

3.       Be creative- ask friends and family. If you have the skills, create an item or check some thrift shops. You shouldn’t be spending much money or any to create the look, if you do, that’s your choice.

4.       Your attire must still comply with school dress-code rules. No bare feet!

5.       Arrive dressed in your attire, we will not have time for several people to change or come late to class. This may mean wearing your decade for the morning, at least until history class is over.
