Description
Welcome to Quarter 3 distance learning!  My name is Thuy Uong and I am your instructor in this course. In addition to welcoming you to the course, I would like to give you some helpful information and a few hints for successful completion of this course.
 
My virtual classroom is located at Canvas, my live instructions/office hours/proctored quizzes/tests will be held via Zoom, my contact email address is [email protected], and my contact Google phone number is: (619) 631-5053. My virtual office hours are as follows: Monday - Thursday, 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm, by appointment ONLY. 
 
CANVAS
I will be posting announcements, notes, HW assignments, recordings of the live instructions, and assigning tests and final exam via Canvas from now on.  To access the site you will need to go to,
  1. Click on sandiegounified.instructure.com (remember to bookmark this page)
  2. Sign on using your regular school ID and password
 
REMIND
I will be using the Remind App to send out announcements (it is not necessary to download the app).

It is important to get started right away and to maintain the pace outlined in your course materials, you must keep current with the 9-week schedule. My experience with online study is that getting started and keeping on schedule are most important to successful completion.

Signing in my Zoom sessions - It is important you sign in using your stu.sandi.net account.

1)  Click on https://sandiegounified.zoom.us/

2)  Click the "Sign in" button. Use your school email (stu.sandi.net) and password to sign in.  Avoid the regular site and sign in through Google. 

3)  Click on "JOIN A MEETING"
